미국 노동청(DOL)의 PERM 상태 체크하는 법

 

취업이민의 1단계는 한국인들이 흔히들 부르는 노동인증 LC(Labor Certification)입니다. 이것은 노동청의 온라인 PERM을 이용하여 노동인증을 해 달라고 신청하는 것입니다. LC는 노동청의 노동 인증 단계로서, 이 노동인증을 받더라도 외국인은 바로 일 할 수 있는 것이 아니고, 이후에 EAD카드를 받아야 합법적으로 일을 할 수 있습니다.

 

아래의 노동청 공식 웹사이트에 들어가서 케이스번호를 입력해 보시면 됩니다.

아이써트 케이스 번호는 노동청에서 외국인 노동자의 신청서를 추적하고 식별하기 위해 사용하는 번호입니다.

"iCERT case numbers are used by the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC), Employment and Training Administration, United States Department of Labor, to identify and track applications for permanent and temporary labor certification as they move through the iCERT system to receive a final determination. OFLC automatically assigns an official case number to each application you submit for processing."

 

아이써트 케이스 번호는 알파벳 1글자 - 3자리 비자아이디 - 5자리 숫자 -6자리 숫자로 나타납니다.

"OFLC case numbers appear in the following formats: [Visa Program Designation]-[3-digit Visa ID]-[5-digit Julian Date]-[6-digit Number Assignment]"

 

Eg: G-100-12345-123456 (알파벳1글자+2자리 비자아이디+숫자 5자+숫자6자=총14자)

Visa Program designation includes the following values:

• G = PERM Application
• I = Labor Condition Application
• H = H-2A and H-2B Applications

3-Digit Visa ID (ooo) values are hard coded and include the following values:

• 100 = Basic PERM Application
• 101 = PERM Application for Professional Athletes
• 200 = H-1B
• 201 = H-1B1 Chile
• 202 = H-1B1 Singapore
• 203 = E-3 Australian
• 300 = H-2A
• 400 = H-2B

Next 5 digits are the Julian Date on which the case was submitted for processing

Next 6 digits are a random number assigned to the case by the iCERT System.
