이민국 수수료 체크로 내는 법

쉽지만 한번쯤 읽어볼만한 미국이민국에 보내는 수수료를 체크로 내는 방법입니다.

 

How to Write Your Check (체크 쓰는 법)

Personal checks must be pre-printed with the name of the bank and the account holder. 

(은행명과 계좌 주인의 이름이 찍혀있는 개인체크 사용하기.)

Also, the account holder’s address and phone number must be pre-printed, typed or written in ink on the check. 

(계좌 주인의 주소와 전화번호가 찍혀있는 체크 쓰기.)

All checks must be typed or written in ink. 

(모든 체크는 잉크로 인쇄되어 있거나 쓰여져 있을 것.)

 

 

(1) Write the date you are filling out the check including:  month, day and year.  Important note: Write the date of the check in the U.S. style of month/day/year. (Example: January 4, 2017 or 1/4/17, but not 4/1/17.

 

(1) 월/일/년 형식으로 작성하기.

예)2017년 1월 4일이라면 -> 1/4/2017 형식으로 쓰기.

 

(2) On the "Pay to the Order of" line write:  "U.S. Department of Homeland Security." (not “USDHS” or “DHS”).

 

(2) 받는 이: U.S. Department of Homeland Security 라고 길게 적기. 약어로 적지 말 것.

 

(3) Write in numbers the exact dollar amount of the fee for the service you are requesting. In the example, the amount is "$725.00."

 

(3) 정확한 $ 금액 적기.

 

(4) Spell out the exact dollar amount of the fee for the service you are requesting.  The "cents" portion of the amount should be written as a fraction over 100.  In this example, the amount is "Seven hundred twenty-five and 00/100."

 

(4) 센트 부분까지 적기.(체크에 "and 00/100" 형식으로 쓸 것)

예)I-140 프리미엄 비용 $1225일 경우, 체크에 "One thousand two hundred twenty-five and 00/100"라고 적기.

 

(5) Write a brief description of the purpose of your payment and include the applicant’s name in the memo line.  In this example, it is "N-400 application and biometric services fee."

 

(5) 메모란에 지불 목적과 내용을 간단히 적어주기.

예) I-485 접수하는 것이 라면, 체크 메모란에 "I-485 application and biometric services fee" 라고 깔끔하게 적기.

 

(6) Sign the check using your legal name.

 

(6) 법적이름을 이용하여 사인하기.

예) 여권명 쓰기.
